How to Get to Himmelblå Brygge
We’re excited to welcome you to Himmelblå Brygge, located on the beautiful island of Ylvingen along the Helgeland coast. While getting here requires a few steps, the journey is part of the experience—combining scenic travel by air, road, and sea.
Below is a simple guide to help you plan your trip, whether you're traveling from abroad or within Norway.
✈️ Traveling from Abroad
If you’re visiting from outside Norway, your journey will typically begin with a flight to one of Norway’s main international airports, such as Oslo Airport (Gardermoen).
From there:

Take a domestic flight to Brønnøysund Airport (BNN).

Once you arrive in Brønnøysund, make your way to the harbor:

It’s approximately a 25-minute walk from the airport to the town center and harbor.

Taxis are also available if you prefer a quicker transfer.

✈️ Traveling Within Norway
Domestic travelers can fly directly to Brønnøysund Airport from several Norwegian cities, often via Trondheim or Bodø.
Alternatively, you may choose to travel by car along the stunning Norwegian Coastal Route (Fv17), which connects many towns and ferry crossings along the Helgeland coast.

Once you are in the Brønnøysund area, you have two main options to reach Ylvingen:
1. Passenger Ferry (Recommended for most visitors)

The ferry takes you directly to Ylvingen.
2. Car Ferry via Horn

If you are traveling with a car, you can take the ferry from Horn to Ylvingen.

Horn is a short drive from Brønnøysund.
