Our accommodation
Welcome to island life on Ylvingen!
At Himmelblå Brygge we have family rooms in the main house, a large arctic dome "Himmelhiet" and two traditional Sami style Gammer huts located close to the pier with sea views and easy access to all facilities.
During the summer season (June 15 - August 15) we also offer a half board package, with breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast is served from 08:00 - 10:00 and dinner is served at 18:30.

Himmelhiet
Here you can fall asleep to the sound of waves beneath the panorama of the arctic midnight sun
Our Arctic Dome "Himmelhiet" is a fantastic way to experience the sea, the midnight sun, or the Northern Lights. The view is drawn to the harbour, the mountains of Vega, and out to the blue horizon. You sleep warmly and comfortably in our quality beds with lovely duvets and pillows. This is a lovely way to sleep close to the sea, nature, and experience the rich island life of Ylvingen.
The dome is located on the yard of Himmelblå Brygge, and the car can be parked right outside the tent.
Here there is one double bed, with the option of one or two extra single beds.
Family Rooms
3 family rooms with up to 6 persons in each
Family room with a double bed and four single beds (120 cm wide). Access to several shared bathrooms with toilet and shower. The rooms are located on the 2nd floor of Himmelblå Brygge and have a sea view. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor, at the other end of the building.
Bedding must be put on and removed by yourself.
Seaside glamping
Would you like to spend a night in a comfortable glamping tent by the open sea?
Inspired by the gammer huts of the arctic Sami people our glamping tents provide a wonderful view of the harbour, of nature beneath the midnight sun, and the Helgeland archipelago in the summer's most unique overnight experience.
This accommodation is not a regular room, but an experience in itself. We have two simple yet stylishly furnished glamping tents, with comfortable beds for up to three people, furnished with lovely duvets and pillows. The gammer are located adjacent to Himmelblå Pier, with facilities easily available.
Take a refreshing morning swim in the crystal-clear water or enjoy breakfast with a view of Vega island.
